THE BEGINNING

 Born in shrewsbury UK , in 1968 and started playing guitar in 1979 i have had no formal guitar

 tuition other than my first chords, off Jimmy Griffthis and a few scales off Alan Quinlan .

 To get to the level that i am at today took many hours of practice and dedication,

 well the practice and dedication payed off in 1994 when i won a place in the Guitarist of the year

 I played live on stage with top session players such as Charlie Morgan who has worked

 for Billy Joel, Felix Krish, who has worked for Kate Bush, and Go West, and Hugh Burns,

 who played the lead break in Gerry Rafertys, baker street that day i will never forget .

 In 1996 i won a place in another, Guitarist of the year and came second place .

 Then in 2000, i won a place in yet another Guitarist of the year and came wait for it drum roll

 please, no not first but second place again it just was'nt meant to be, but hey i got my picture

 in the magazine many times and it is something to keep for all me hard work,and not only

 that i got to meet some really nice people. Such as Simon Lees, who plays guitar for the

 classic rock band Budgie his link is on the site, plus Frasier Smith, who plays guitar for

 Craig David. So if you put your heart and soul into it, you too can have a slice of the very big pie
